Born in Minnesota, Mike Earley attracts the sort of attention that people from the Midwest would statistically rather die of hypothermia than be put in front of. With a sly, sharp delivery he seamlessly weaves from one subject to another with an ease that often betrays his unassuming dimeanor. He has regularly performed at premiere clubs across the country like The Comedy Cellar, The Comedy Mothership, and Acme Comedy Club. He currently lives in New York City and is a touring opener for Louis CK.

JAKE SILBERMAN
Jake Silberman is a New York City comedian who’s been relentlessly touring the country over the last three years. He’s headlined numerous clubs, including Helium Comedy, The Comedy Club of Kansas City and Comedy Corner Underground. Jake is a regular opener for Kyle Kinane and Nick Mullen, and has also opened for comedy greats Nate Bargatze and the late Norm Macdonald. His special “The Crowd Work Album'' is currently streaming on Tubi, with the album version put out by Rhizome Comedy Records. Jake’s work has been featured on the popular “Your Mom’s House” podcast as well as “Now This News.'' His podcast “The Jake Silberman Show '' can be heard every Friday. In 2022 Jake released his feature length documentary “Back at it” on Amazon Prime, which chronicled the return of stand up comedy after the pandemic and follows Jake as he tours the country interviewing comics and fellow Americans along the way. JOEY AVERY:
Joey Avery is a comedian on the rise headlining comedy clubs across the world. He was featured on the Don't Tell Comedy "Batting Cage series" and Season 10 of Comedy Central's Featuring with clips from each appearance achieving viral success. He has quickly amassed an online following through a mix of improvised standup and precise material. His first album debuted at #1 on iTunes and he was featured twice in the San Francisco Chronicle as one of the Bay Area's top comics before moving to New York. He has featured for Andrew Schulz, Mark Normand, Trevor Wallace, Shane Gillis and other staples of the comedy scene.

ETHAN PEDERSEN:
Ethan Pedersen is a Minneapolis based standup comedian. In 2018 at the age of 20, he began performing and discovered a talent, maturity beyond his years, a keen observational eye and the awareness for making light of everyday life and the absurdity of situations we may all find ourselves in. In the short time since, he’s been a finalist in Fargo’s Funniest Person contest, part of the Fargo Comedy Festival, a semi-finalist in the Funniest Person Contest at Acme Comedy Club in Minneapolis, and came 2nd in the Funniest Person in Minneapolis contest at Sisyphus Brewing. He's also a regular at venues across Minneapolis including Sisyphus and The Comedy Corner Underground, both known for having nationally touring headliners. He was also a featured stand-up in Minneapolis' MN Comedy blog. He’s currently working at clubs and bars across the midwest, delivering sharp, witty comedy, with a twist of silliness and always with a clever, midwest sensibility.

Eli Ruffer has brought his unique blend of humor to the stages of the Laugh Factory, Zanies Comedy Clubs, and the Seattle International Comedy Competition, to name a few. In 2023, Eli performed in over 10 states, captivating audiences with his observational wit and engaging stage presence. A contributor to The Onion and a social media sensation, Eli's comedic insights resonate widely, earning him a dedicated following.

Jazz in the Cellar

Max Johnk is a musician who lives and works in Fargo, North Dakota. A journeyman bassist with broad tastes and professional experience, Max can be heard in cover bands, jazz groups, and DIY shows across the midwest. Max's focus as a composer and bandleader centers on improvised music; his most recent album is Laid Across Your Path (2021).

Max is excited to bring a group of longtime collaborators along on his first musical outing at The Cellar. The band will visit classic repertoire from the 'jazz canon', while making the case for some contemporary additions to that lineage. Billie Holiday and Beyonce may both be involved... we hope you'll join us!
