Business and Beer is a low-key meetup that takes place every Thursday during Happy Hour at Front Street Taproom. Join in on this laid back networking event to meet new people, make connections, discuss ideas, learn a few new things and of course, have a couple local brews. From photographers and musicians to real estate investors, small business owners and marketing experts – all business backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to check out this fun weekly event.

Front Street has a wide variety of local beer, wine and cider as well as kombucha, soda and munchies. Rhombus Guys offers free delivery to Front Sreet as well!

Every Wednesday evening the taproom is filled with that amazingly rich, warm sound that only vinyl can bring. DJ AP, a talented DJ with over 15 years of experience hits the turntables along with guest DJs to bring you a mix of genres sure to put a little bump in your humpday. 

Vinyl Night Special: $2 Grain Belt and Nordeast Pounders 7-11pm

Interested in becoming a DJ? Let us know! We’re always looking for more vinyl enthusiasts to do a 1-hour set, about 10 songs. The turntables are easy to learn and we’ll also give you two free drinks for sharing your music with the world. 

Open Turntables: Every Sunday from 5-9 we have the turntables set up and open for use, this is also a great opportunity to practice or learn. Reach out if you'd like us to teach you the ropes!

Jack is back again!

Winders plays a mix of rock and roll songs from artists including but not limited to: Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, The Beatles, Jason Isbel, Van Morrison, Band of Horses, Simon and Garfunkle and many more. For the past 4 years, Winders has played in the Brookings, SD rock and roll band Horseplay and released two albums in that time period.

Jack's goal is to allow people to have the best possible time wherever he is playing.

HEADLINER - NATE ABSHIRE
Nate Abshire started performing comedy in 2009 to spite a girl who wouldn’t return his calls. The following year, he finished runner-up in the “Funniest Person in the Twin Cities” contest.
In 2012 he ventured west and was a semifinalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition.
In 2013 Nate performed at Laughfest in their “Best of the Midwest” contest finishing runner-up, and he was chosen to open for Mark Maron, Whitney Cummings, and The Sklar Brothers at various shows in Minneapolis. In the spring of 2014 he was tabbed to perform on the 8th season of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” in Los Angeles.

Audiences love his sardonic wit, keen writing, and playful stage presence. The girl; still won’t return his calls.

Nate currently lives in Minneapolis with his dog.
