Todd Sisson

Born and raised on the Iron Range of Northern Minnesota, Todd began his sojourn into music at a very young age as a student of piano, saxophone and voice. Picking up the bass guitar at age 10, he started performing at local events as bass/lead vocalist for C-I Pacific who, as “exceptionally talented” 5th/6th Graders, were featured on the Welcome Inn Show on KCMT / KNMT TV.

Todd developed the band “Savage Soul“ and continued performing on bass/vocals until he discovered the 6-string guitar and started playing solo engagements. At age 15, Todd was co-creator and front-man/guitarist for “The Beaver Creek Band” which played in local and regional venues. In the early 80’s he joined up with the regional fan-favorite power-rock band “Runamuck” and later worked with the band “The Plan” to develop and record an album. The album received regional acclaim and radio play.

Todd has since been performing as a solo singer and acoustic guitar player across Northwestern/ North Central Minnesota and the Fargo, ND area playing for radio shows, events, venues, private parties and fund-raisers. In 2007 He was selected to perform for the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Foundation’s Annual Memorial along with Jazz great George Maurer and radio host Garrison Keillor in St. Cloud. He has written several songs and is working to release his 2nd collection of recordings.

Todd’s songs are reflective of his life of personal observation, his uncomplicated view of love and family, and his passion for “good song“.
