Jake Ingamar

  • Front Street Taproom 614 Main Avenue Fargo, ND, 58103 United States (map)

Jake Ingamar, has been involved in the Fargo music scene for a little more than a while now. From being one of the two lead guitarists for the disbanded psychedelic jam band Ingamar (Jake's middle name) to being the pedal steel player for local singer-songwriter Michael Pink, which included performing at the Whisky a Go-Go in West Hollywood as part of Michael's backing band in March 2014. His most recent but now disbanded power-quartet, The Stationary Wilbury's, included performing at the Fargo Theatre as a part of the second annual Dylanfest in Feburary 2016. Jake now goes entirely solo with his acoustic and electric guitars performing songs of his own in which he is currently in the process of recording and self releasing in the early months of 2017. His influences are blended and demonstrated from his personally selected repertoire of covers ranging from the 60's pop melody masters of The Beatles, The Byrds, and The Zombies to the storytelling heartland folk/Americana music of Gram Parsons, Jackson Browne, Bruce Springsteen, and Townes Van Zandt as well as some contemporary songwriters including Elliott Smith, Ryan Adams, and Jim James (of My Morning Jacket).
